1st Vocal Lesson with Lynn
I realised that alot of my techniques are wrong !!! What have I been teaching myself all these while.I had my lesson with her and picked up some stuff.1st is breathing , I need to breath 6 counts and direct those air into my stomach , then release it 12 counts using the shhhh sound .All these while not using my chest but I can't seem to be able to do it since I have been using my chest all the time.
There is this exercise in which I am suppose to 'vibrate' my lips , I couldn't do that so I do some exercise with my tongue instead.
I can't go down in C major.Do Re Me Fa So La Ti Do , then I can't do it backwards , Do Ti La So Fa Me Re Do.I thought I was tone deaf but she said I wasn't.
She said the way I sang the song was pitchy and collapsed in the end.I guessed its due to my falsetto transition.I find myself unable to transit smoothly.This has always been a problem so I make use of my throat to bridge the gap between it but that doesn't seem to be the solution.Breathing technique seem to be the key.The abdomen is able to hold more air than the chest.
I need to really learn this breathing technique if not I can't move on.Basic stuff if I want to sing.Didnt expect my level to be so low :( So low that I can't be put into her syllabus yet.

My photos were backed up
I went to meet up with bartender to pass him my external hdds for data recovery.Just as I was feeling bad , I opened up the pic folder in e: . Guess what ? My photos are there !!! I was feeling bad for the past few days because I really want those photos back.Really priceless stuff.Thank god I backup the other time without even realising it.Lets wait for the recovery to be complete.Hope I can recover my psp games and other applications inside.

My external hdd can't be detected !!!!
My mp4 player is spoilt , external hdd can't be detected which means I lose all my data and I am stucked with APP assignment 2.Everything seems to be breaking down this week.I am having vocal lessons with gynnie this sunday , hopefully she can help me address most of the problems.She seem to have the solutions after discussing with her .. hmm.

I hate Discrete maths !!
I went over to NTU today to try to do my Maths assignment 2.Managed to barely complete part 1 outta the 9 parts with alot of koon liang's advice.So glad I can ask him about most of the questions if not I am screwed.Tomorrow is my intensive , I am almost completing 3.Trying to hit 5 before I go for intensive tmr and then 7 tmr night.The last 2 parts are straight forward.If I leave it all for the last few days , I am doomed because I usually come home from intensive super tired and there is a need to rest and prepare for the next day.
Anyway , after assignment 2 will be APP assignment 2 and Maths Assignment 3 :(Totally packed not forgetting my exam revision.

Harkmusic guitar workshop
There is a new degree course offered by naaec.Degree in innovation and entrepreneurship.They actually have this course over in adelaide too.It looks very interesting , kinda teaches you to be a jack of all trades.I would still prefer a specialized degree though.
I went for hark music's guitar workshop today.Learn very minimum stuff .As expected , cant really master the guitar within 2 hours.Its just a workshop to educate you about certain stuff to get you interested in the 3 day course.The motivation part at the end was good.They showed us this clip that teaches us not to be blinded by the tough obstacles ahead.

APP Intensive 2 Parallel Programming
Just came back from APP intensive.The lesson so far is easier to understand compared to the previous intensive.Been trying to attack automark for the past few days.So far I only managed to get 75 outta 100.Thank god there is a deadline extention by Dr Brad.Dr Andrew wrote some tutorial questions on the board.I guess I will attempt them tomorrow morning before class.

23rd Birthday Aftermath
Celebrated my bday on monday with lots of vomitting after being forced to drink so much.I think I vomitted thrice , once in chillz , the 2nd time in the mrt and the 3rd in my room.I couldn't even make it to the to the toilet which was just next to my room.Totally wasted.I really appreciate my platoon mates for joining me that day , had lots of fun and the guys over at chillz were great too.Thanks alot koon liang for getting me a cake and sending me home if not I will end up sleeping in the grass.
I had been trying to figure out my app for the past week and I keep getting weird problems with automark.It wasn't until I got some tips from gareth that I realised what I was doing wrong.Maybe I am not cut out for this field after all.Gareth can like do this stuff within a day , maybe a few hrs while I struggling for a week and can't get it right.I have got 30 marks from automark now , need to read up more on the remaininding portion later.
I was just browsing some job section under media and advertising.I think I enjoy their job scope much more than an IT job.Could this be my calling ? I was really exciting about picking up programming from scratch after NS since I didn't really mastered it well in poly .My interest grew in CSC and DSA module but now I don't seem to be doing well , or maybe just average.Much more people talented and better than me.
There is a accelerating guitar learning workshop at harkmusic on next tuesday.Hopefully I can learn to play the guitar as well as kenneth tan.Actually that wasn't my intention , nobody can actually master the guitar in a 2 hour workshop.I guess its just an intro and some basic stuff.Its free anyway .
I managed to watch xing guang da dao on youtube today.Our 3 singaporeans zhiyang , diya , ai jia went over to PK the contestants over there and managed to get quite good results.Really proud of them.Definitely much better than the previous group , derrek hoh and kelly poon.
