Dennis is into scuba diving
I went back to school to discuss the maths assignment with Dennis , found out a few mistakes I made.Then headed over to eat spicy chicken again.I realised Dennis has picked up scuba diving.He is really learning alot of new stuff , first is Driving , then bike ,recently is scuba diving , plan to go for sky diving in future.He claims he should had done these stuff at my age .I am not really keen on them though.

APP assignment specs out
Assignment specs for APP is out !!! New china hp
My dad bought a china hp today for $138.Looks like quite a good deal , 8 mega pixel phone , tv , radio , mp3 player , phone .Hope it doesn't spoil that fast so we can fully get to utilise it.Posted by Ern at 2:21 PM

Learning scheme
I went over to SIM this morning to ask freddie some stuff since he is back from adelaide and he will be hanging around SIM while waiting for his wife.Managed to clear some doubts and got more familiar with scheme.Downloaded DrScheme today , found it quite good.Much better than MIT scheme which the interface sucks.Gareth also taught me another method , to login to the school server uss.cs.adelaide.edu.au and run scheme from there.Slightly laggy but it works.Citibank sent me a rejection letter for their credit card today , lol.A $500 limit card and they reject me , tsk tsk.Wouldn't register for any of their cards anymore next time even when I start working.

APP 1st intensive ends
Last day of APP 1st intensive today.Learn stuff like stream , henderson diagram ,delay and force , cat and con , tail recursion aka iterative recursion , tree recursion etc.I am able to pass a procedure into another procedure as parameter , isn't that amazing ? There isn't any loops in scheme so I can do my own.Assignment 1 should be related to counting change so I should read up abit about it.I also realised that our SEP is only once a year which means if the class is full , we have to wait another year ? Maybe I will be slacking for 1 term is march until june.Should be trying to get a perm or part time job by then.

APP starts tomorrow
APP starts tomorrow , I wonder what advance programming stuff I am going to learn.Hopefully I can understand what Dr Brad is teaching.Just finished up my maths , there are some really tough questions inside and I am not sure whether I got them right or not but at least 70% of my assignment should be ok.Just need to compare with the rest and see how they do some questions.Posted by Ern at 1:46 AM

Computer Systems result out
Computer Systems result are out ! I got 72 C :( short of 3 marks to D.At least I am quite satisfied with it.No need to retake this module again.Now to concentrate on APP and Maths.Brooks business school was involved in some fraud case recently where they told students they will get an rmit degree when it is not in fact linked with RMIT.My platoon mate was involved and he lost about 15k , that sucks.I hope they close down such "schools".

Just managed to finish up probability , conditional probability , bayes formula ,probability tree and law of total probability !!! cosfest 2009
The maths during the weekend was killing me.Now we have 30+ questions to do before handing in 2 weeks later.I need to complete them before this friday since APP is starting.Wouldn't want both assignments to clash.Class ended early yesterday so I headed over to cosfest with soon aik , we shared a cab.I find this year's cosfest isn't as good as the past year.Maybe because I was 1 hour late.I managed to take a few photos though.Something super embarrassing happened , I saw 2 cosplayers and wanted to take a pic with them and 1 went off , I asked her to join in.Then after that I realised she wasn't a cosplayer but just accompanying her friend ! lol.

Maths For IT starts !
Had Math class today.We learnt about probability and sets today.Amazing how both topics can be combined together and there is so much more to learn besides the basic stuff covered in A maths.Lots of formulae and concepts.My class is quite big since the DSA class are taking with this module with us.I also happened to bump into guo zhan , 1 of my poly mates.He is already taking his SEP aka final module while I am like only almost halfway through.How I wish I can study during NS like him but I think its quite tough studying this with ns .
I have got 2 new games for my psp today.Monster hunter freedom unite and pangya.Pangya is exactly like the pc online version except that it has a story mode !Monster hunter freedom unite is something like an extention to the original monster hunter.Only started the simple basic quest.
Need to revise abit of maths before tomorrow lesson !

Citibank debit platinum has arrived but wheres my citibank clear ? lol.Although the card is here , I can't use it until they issue me my pin.My timetable this term.Class starting this friday until sunday.I want to go cosfest :(

No more cosfest this year
I just realised I have classes on sunday too ! which means I am unable to attend cosfest at all this year :(Elaine had this application to be her bf going on and those who are interested should fill in her form.I find it interesting so I fill it up :D Waiting for an interview ! she says I stand a good chance , wow.

reapplied citibank clear
I went for klunch with my platoon mates yesterday in the morning.Don't know why karaoke seems to be getting really more boring or I am just not into it anymore.Whats up with this game called dragonica that got both darrell and yang jun hooked ? I definitely don't want to get myself hooked to games again since my classes are starting soon.I registered for my citibank clear card again at the city hall branch since the application was cancelled as they claimed.They even gave me free 6 mth saving account with citibank.Hopefully there isn't any cork up this time if not I will condemn citibank , lol.
Read up a few pages of maths today and I realised their sets topic isn't anything like the A maths sets.Maybe only the basics but there are alot more advance stuff .I think I need to go for classes in order to understand whats in the notes.APP notes are ready for collection and CS results aren't out yet.Qu jie bluffed me last night that the results are out and I actually fell for it .Maybe I will go collect my APP notes tomorrow and do some reading in the student lounge.
