new extention in mrt track
I went back to school to help dennis with his pract 3 and also study abit because I find myself distracted studying at home.Managed to learn alot of new stuff from him as usual , his experience is really astonishing.He was however kinda pissed about brad giving him zero marks for his pract 1 and didn't even bother looking at his coding.Headed over to chillz after that since alvin said he will come over after 12am since his plane is landed in sg at 12am.Slacked around at the counter and there was this guy and gal at a table next to me.The guy can really sing and his falsetto change is good.Too bad his voice also broke when he sang a rock duet song .Another 2 girls took over his table after he left.I noticed these few guys challenging them to pool and kept on losing.They just keep challenging hoping to win and ended up even losing even more.1 guy from the group even asked to change 10 bucks to continue playing.I was thinking will they even give up ?
Kinda tired ard 2am and was about to leave when alvin and his group came over.Ashley was dead drunk and he had some frens I didn't know.I still recognise most of them.Hazel was working that day and she said about sharing cab with me since we both live in jurong.I waited all the way until 6am then she said she will be sharing cab with the rest because some of them are drunk.I left chillz and headed to the mrt when I see lots of cops around and police car everywhere.They were doing some riot arrest or something so I headed back for awhile.Didn't want to get mixed up in the group.By the time I reached home , it was already around 7am.
I noticed something new , there is an extention to the mrt track after boon lay which means boon lay isn't the last stop of that line anymore :)

Practical 4 almost done
Managed to completed both tutorial 3 and 4 , and practical 3.Started practical 4 and completed half of it since there are only 2 questions.I need to spend more time understanding linkedlist , stacks and queues.Kinda confusing.People tell me those are the easiest , understanding them will enable me to understand the further chapters better.Posted by Ern at 9:29 PM

Valentines
I spent a big portion of the day in school for class and struggling with practical 2.When I thought recursion is hard enough , a nary recursion is even worse.New stuff are being taught like linklist , stacks , binary trees etc.Headed over to chillz after school.Really bored because no1 was free.I met some new friends over there , 2 girls from another table :D got 1 of their numbers.Spent my valentines day irritating emily felicia and the rest in chillz.I also helped this guy pay a portion of his bus fare because he doesn't have enough coins.Turns out he is an indonesian student on attachment to NTU studying EEE.

practical 2 still hanging
Just came back from school.Learnt about linklist today and went further into big(o) notation.I haven't finish practical 2 , looks like I gotta work through the night because deadline is this sunday night.Lucky daniel explain alot of me ...I took a look at my paper at the office today since the exam scripts came back a few days ago.I realised my whole FSM question was wrong causing me to lose alot of marks.Think that is the part that killed me , lol.Posted by Ern at 12:11 AM

Tutorial 2 completed

Stucked in practical 2
I am in school doing my tutorial again.I went for driving today , my parking was still as bad.I also make mistakes in some areas like not giving way to pedestrians and I swear the pedestrian was at the far end of the zebra crossing.Can't seem to memorise the turning points for parallel and reverse parking.Certain areas I thought I could overtake and cut in but oh well ...Cancelled thursday driving lesson to concentrate on my recursion practical.Hopefully I finished up the tutorial 2 by today so I can submit both tutorials tomorrow and start recursion practical.

My new hp
I got myself a viewty a few days back.I went with kl tan to get it at vivo , we then headed over to bugis to get his sister and friend's present.I can say he is a very generous guy , spend quite a fair bit on his friend.Next we wanted to watch benjamin buttons but when we almost queued to the cashier , there was a note on the windscreen stating "Benjamin buttons sold out" :( We ended up heading to boat quay and bryan joining us.The pub we went too charge us 3 percent.At first I thought it was 3 percent discount when the waitress mention it.End up is 3 percent additional , lol.Sold off my 6120 hp today for $110.I included my charger and 128mb micro sd card.Got a plastic casing for my viewty but I accidentally cracked it while trying to open after fitting , lol.Ended up getting a new 1 and I experiment with the back casing of the first casing by breaking a hole in the middle so I can shut off and on my camera lense.The old version of viewty doesn't have a lens protect shutter but mine has 1 , thats why the casing didn't included it.
Met up with dennis in school and discussed abit on both tutorials.Tutorial 2 is kinda tough , maths againnnnnnn.Proving by induction , sigmaaa.Looks like we gotta meet up again tomorrow.Can't join daniel in his unisim lecture because of this :(

Left 4 dead
I went over daniel's place and stayed over night because I needed his help and advise with some java for my practical .I must say I have learnt alot from him I can't thank him enough.If only my java is as good as him but still working hard on it cause it sucks now.We played left 4 dead at night and it was super fun blasting those zombies.I feel really weak in the vs mode when I was a zombie though , because besides the tanker , the humans are too powerful.

2nd day of DSA
DSA started with an hour of lab session which we continue on practical 1.At last I understand how to roughly throw try and catch exceptions , after some explanation from Mr Lim.Really think there isn't enough practice on that particular topic.A good thing about him is that whatever question you ask him , whether noob or not , he will try to answer me to the best of his knowledge.1st part of class left us in lala land.Numbers were appearing everywhere and lots of formulae are used just to prove an induction.Guess I really need to revise my A maths.I took this photo while everyone was busying copying when I left class to head off to the lab , lol.Partly was because I was sitting too far and I trusted my hp cam.
2 part of class was better.We went into deeper into recursion , at least I have some basic knowledge of recursion from the previous csc module.I didn't know the queen board problem could be solved using recursion until Dr Brad made us do a live demo.
Around 6 , we headed off to the labs again and I continue doing question 4 of my practical.Dr Brad advise us to look up on bucket sort and he gave us a rough idea of how it sorts.Basically with an unsorted list , we make an assumption of the range .like the numbers are between 1 to 10 or the max life span of a human being , we can give 150 to be on the safe side.Then the count of each number is set to zero.The number of occurrence of each number will do an increment to the count for that particular number.Finally using the count , the numbers are printed out starting from 0 in ascending order.
Headed off to chillz at night to lo hei after class and meet up with alvin.Quite a few new waitress there.There is this gal name hazel who studies in the same school with my sister and 1 year her senior.There is another gal who is 27 and doesn't look like it.Best part is people kept thinking I am a waiter there for that nite and ask me for stuff like cards , help them to select songs.I don't get paid :(
