Bone graft surgery
I arrived early in Day Surgery with my dad at 7am.I was then told to wear the dress they provided me and then wheelchaired into the operating threatre. They asked me the usual stuff before I enter.Whether I have any allergies etc.Inside , the surgeons joked around with me abit.1 of them asked me how I got my injury and I told him taekwondo. The rest then laughed and he proceed to explain how he used to be involved in martial arts too.
Actually if my bone is joined , they only need to remove the metal pieces. It seems that the bone didnt join so they have to do bone graft surgery for me.
I woke up in early afternoon. There was this cute nurse that attended to me from nyp.The malay lady a few beds away from me visiting her husband was very nice too.She provided me with tissue when I was vomitting and she went out to inform the nurses when I wanted to vomit but there wasn't any container around.she also told me to keep my handphone close to me in case of theft. There was a male nurse that was nice too.Can see that he has lots of experience when handling his elderly patients.Oh yea , my ward is like an old folks home , it seems I am the youngest there again.
I was in pain at night around 3am and the pain killers didn't seem to really helped until about an hour later.I can't really sit up for the whole day.The next day was as bad but I somehow managed to limp around abit. The male nurse told me I may not be able to go home because of my condition but my dad insisted that I get discharged that day since the doctor already said I could be discharged.
