New year 2006
Just back from the celebration at esplanade , the crowd was crazy :D
It rained heavily in the afternoon and I thought there goes our fun.Lucky we weren't affected at nite.Jurong east mrt station was so wet and the cleaner had to sweep the water away.

Met up with twinkle , li xiang , xiaohan , zibin , ah xing and skyeve.We went to eat at suntec before heading over.The beef noodles there taste horrible.Don't know why the sauce so salty.We headed over to esplanade and it was rather crowded already.
Saw some people telling stories at the entrance.
The girls encountered a weird lady inside the toilet commenting about their hair , hehehe.She must be a hairdress or something.

We found a place to sit which was on the rocks near the river.Zibin and I have to "reserve " place while the girls go shopping.Oh yea , I went over to the makeshift toilet , it was terrible.Felt like vomitting , the stench really smelly. Met emily on the bridge towards suntec and simon at marina square.
There were these string of cards where people write their new year resolutions.There were about 5-6 of these strings :)
They released those spheres into the river and they look fabulous.

Saw this man playing sparks with his kid.
There was also this annoying light shinning at us all the time.I think it is some kinda guide for the ships at sea.

When it reached 12 , the fireworks started .woo , spectacular.Recorded 3 mins 21 seconds of it.Will post some pictures up soon :) Was recording halfway when suddenly low batt.Managed to use my spare ones but still didnt help.In the end I used the 2 pair of batteries they provided with my cam.Lent them to zibin after that as his batteries were flat too.

After that was sparks madness and alot of spraying.
Tried to take photos of us holding to the sparks with the flash of the camera on.Didn't turn out well.

There was some concert going on after that or maybe it is ending already.
Managed to catch the last train.I thought it was supposed to end at 1 but there was still train at 1:15.Can save some cab fare , lol.Ah xing and skyeve almost took the wrong train by following us.Lucky they realised it fast enough.
All went well except I left my batteries with zibin , zzz.
